Minoli and all of the other staff members at Al Falaj were as helpful as ever. I always enjoy my solo trips to Oman and coming back to Al Falaj, makes it that more special. I also like the food selection, and as a non-gluton eater and dairy intolerant person. I always find something to eat. My room this time was lovely as well and I look forward to returning in the near future. Thanks again, to the staff at Al Falaj for your exceptional hospitality. X 😀

The hotel itself is beautiful, the pool is lovely, the gym was great and the staff at the gym was wonderful as well. I loved the tea cafe and the food was really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room service was excellent. WiFi worked great as well. I'd definitely stay here again!

We spend one month last year at Al Falaj Hotel. We come back this year for a second month and it was really perfect, as in 2024. Al Falaj is a hight quality hotel : room, bedding, property, room service, INTERNET connection for working. location, meals, quietness... etc. The hearth of Al Falaj is his staff : since 2025, we know now several employees and they are really nice, as in fact the people of Oman : staff at reception (James...), staff for meals (Austin, chief "Pondichery", miss Lon Tine or Beth, or Anu or Umar). We cannot have a mention for all of them but they are always caring. We have regularly stays in same level hotels, in other countries, and, with this experiment, Al Falaj is really the best. For us it was a particular month.

Al Falaj Hotel might not be brand new, but it shines in cleanliness and upkeep. Our room felt warm and inviting, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal – only a few minutes by taxi (around €5) from both Muttrah Souk and the Corniche, making it easy to explore Muscat. Breakfast was a real treat, offering a wide and varied selection that catered to every preference. Still, the most memorable part of our stay was the team working here. Friendly, welcoming, and always ready with helpful advice, they made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. Their smiles and willingness to go the extra mile left a lasting impression. I left with only positive memories and would gladly return to Al Falaj Hotel on my next visit to Muscat.

The included dinner and breakfast buffets offered a lot of variety and were delicious. The staff was friendly and the bed was comfy.

Everything was great. Good value for money. Room size ok for one person, airco works fine, gym was alright. It was clean and I felt safe (with two locks in the room). I didn't use outside pool. Restaurants in the hotel on the 8th floor are nice but on a pricey side (tokyo taro + pub).

The staff were all excellent. We received great personal service all round. We were particularly impressed by the service at the pool - we were given ice towels on arrival at the pool - then free water in an iced cool box. After a couple of hours we were given fresh fruit. Amazing. We went on a dolphin trip arranged by the hotel Which included complementary transport. We are in the restaurant and in the sports bar. There was also an 8th floor bar where we enjoyed a drink which had great views. Overall excellent

Hotel in a great location near the souq, the opera house, the corniche, the sultan's palace. Clean room and very comfortable extra king size bed. Modern and clean bathroom. Rich breakfast both sweet and savory

I had a good feeling from the moment I arrived. I was very tired after a long overnight flight so it was much appreciated that I was allowed to check in early. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was not large, but had a nice view and the bed was so soft and comfortable. The bar on the top floor was relaxing with a nice view and friendly bar staff . Breakfast buffet had a good choice and you can sit inside or outside. The hotel is quite old so it may not be to everyone's taste, but I really enjoyed my stay here thanks to the lovely staff and the good facilities.
